I called this days and try to get a price information cos I wannted to buy a car... I am new here moved from the Éurope...
They asked me so many quesion unrelated to a car insurance from my education degrees to my private habits such what excatly Iam planing to do with car.. like if I have any kids ..and so on and so on... and they have the right to save this details even if I do not purchase any insurance, which i did not... for all my life...
I am again deply schocked about this British system of private invasion...

If you have told them they no longer have your permission to hold your personal details, then they should remove them from their database unless they have a lawful reason to retain them.
I would look into the Data Protection Act as a good start point. The British legal system has some protection for consumers, but companies do ignore this now and again.
Give them another call and ask them to remove your details and provide you with an acknowledgement that they have done so.
