I purchased insurance for myself and 2 children at a very competitive price. All has been great until I claimed for one of my children. She had an accident which wasnt her fault. I stressed to Admiral that I did not want to claim from my daughters insurance as her car was only worth £500 so if the 3rd party did not admit liability I did not want to proceed with a claim. Admiral/Albany phoned the 3rd party who confirmed that it was her fault and being as she had admitted liability the claim would not be on my daughters policy. The claim then went through and now I am being told that the 3rd party is not admitting liability and that the call to her was unclear (i don't think they even phoned her). My daughter purchased a new car and had to pay £200 to change over, a young friend who is with another insurance company changed her car and was not charged anything. I will not be renewing with Admiral when our policies run out even if they are cheaper. They just want your money and once they have got it they couldnt care less.
