Discovered ERentals via Money Saving Expert web site. Couldnt believe the price for 4 weeks, fantastic. Met at the airport, no fuss, straight to site to pick up car, usual formalities. Low season price of course but still cheaper than anyone else. Nice little run around car, mechanically sound, didnt let us down. Have recommended company to our friends in Cyprus. Excellent easy site to use. Good value for money rental for 2 weeks in Lisbon. Car hire is not from the airport - however a courtesy bus will pick you up and take you to their office only a few minutes drive away. Be aware of the out of hours charge of 25 euros if collecting the car after 8pm! (read more)

Quick fuss free drop off. My only(minor)grumble would be that we were not made aware of the 600 Euro security deposit that was required on collection. Supplied with brand new Kia ( 2000 k/metre), collected quite quickly, once transfer to compound some 10 mins. away from Airport. Girl on reception desk v helpful and v efficient. Slight sting was full fuel policy - so further £82 on the card ! But at least didn't have to worry about any more fuel, correct one and pump locations during rest of trip. Overall, a stress free hire of a 9 seater van from Faro airport. The representative who met us at the airport could have probably done with a larger sign, for holidaymakers to see. Nevertheless, he was courteous and helpful. Although, be warned.... Portugal now has a toll system in place, that is a complete debacle. I have used many times carrentals with satisfaction. Unfortunately last time I had a car from greenmotion and I was not happy at all. THe Greenmotion oiffice is not located inside the airport building but few miles away. The sguttle bus runes every 30 minutes, it was very cold and windy and I had to wait for the bus 25 minutes. After searching online for cheap UK car hire I found Atlas Choice. The car I had was brand new and I couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, the supplier was not within the airport car hire village but a phone call was placed and they came to collect me. The staff were really helpful. One drawback was that the car had to be returned with an empty fuel tank which meant running on low, without knowing how many miles I would be able to drive before it stopped, this was very unnerving... Cheapest deal - simple to use - easy pick up and collection. We opted for the extra excess insurance which was about £10 a day and prevented our credit card from being swiped for £1100! - car was full of fuel and we didn't have to fill up again during our trip. I rented a car from Dublin Airport. Great price - got an upgrade to a bigger (albeit older) car for free and it was very easy to pick up and drop off the car. The only draw back is that you need to ride a bus to pick up the car from the Sixt depot which adds time after a reasonably long queue at the airport. The sign was inconspicuous and flat against the wall, and it took me a while to find it; maybe the telephone should have a more easily seen sign above it, when one is scanning up and down the hall. We rented a car from Belgium on via the internet - eREntals. On arrival at the airport in Alicante, the help and welcome was perfect. The car was ready, clean and without any damage. Just one minor note : we ordered and reserved a GPS, but on arrival no GPS were available.
