We needed a 7 seater (or 5+2) to hire in Mallorca for 1 week and Erentals.co.uk was the cheapest deal I could find having tried several big companies direct, and numerous brokers/comparison sites. The booking process was straightforward, and the emailed details and instructions I received prior to travelling were very clear and easy to follow.

The vehicle we ended up with was a Nissan Qashqai 5+2 and it was great - it was only a few months old, was in good nick, had dual zone climate control, and also had in built sat nav which I didn't need to pay any extra for.

I had never heard of the hire company we ended up with (OK rent a car, which is about a 5 minute drive in the pick up shuttle from Palma airport), and you don't find out who you're with until after you've committed to the booking, which some might regard as a negative but didn't give me any concerns. However they were pretty good (only downside was a wait of over an hour to pick the vehicle up - it was busy in the office and the vehicle was still being prepared when we arrived). The fuel policies with virtually all the car hire companies in Mallorca is also a negative - pay for a full tank and return empty which you're never going to use over a week's travelling on a small island, but I just accepted this as it's pretty much across the board, and you're probably going to get hit by this whoever you go with.

I'd book with Erentals.co.uk again, but i'd still make a few comparison checks to make sure I was getting a good deal.
