Booking one week ahead meant nothing to thrifty. They were happy to take my money then, and when picking up the van telling me they can't find me through their third party credit check site. Well I exist and that's my address just like it is displayed here on all my ID. But no that's the end of the line. Yet they refused to contact the third party site to determine why my details are showing up because they 'don't communicate with them over the phone'? What? The lady couldn't give a damn about solving it, like it was somehow all my fault. And actually told me to get a friend to hire the car instead but i'll just drive it. How the hell is that more secure? Then after no help and completely ruining all my plans on moving a short distance they tell me it will take 10 days to process my refund. Worse hiring process I've ever come across with all the car rentals I have gone through and worse customer service in any place I've ever been... I'd have gone through less pain giving my money to some rich lookonganbonbthe street and just walking the trip without shoes.
