traveled 3rd of march to barcelona were supposed to be picked up by solmar ,had to get another taxi driver to ring them to pick us up took them an hour to arrive when we checked in with I.d. etc they hit us with it 97.41 euros or we would not get the car we had already paid for in england two options given 1 for 97.41euros bring car back empty option 2 excess covered but return car with full tank also 97.41 plus price of petrol no choice but take one of the options or do without the car depot was about 2 miles away from airport so your stranded no taxi ranks nearby .stay away from solmar unless you like to get ripped off.if I knew there would be additional charges I would have cancelled & booked with another car hire company or even walked across the road from the terminal & hired a car you would then have the choice of refusal if price wasn't right
