Prepaid 14 day rental on the sixt website, arrived two days late from flight cancellation. Here is my experience thus far;
1. Had to give an additional deposit before taking car.
2. Was required to purchase comprehensive insurance or provide proof of 99999. Literally even though the agreement plainly states hat it is optional.
3. Car and class was not available so they substituted in a different class, worse.
4. Car had long list of previous damage on receipt yet I found more.
5. If you cancel or amend dates they charge a huge amount.
6. Started car and display indicated that the oil needs changing, employee fixed the problem by resetting the display instead of doing maintenance.
You judge, I think they are shady and would recommend sticking with larger legitimate companies as I will likely return to and add this to the to good to e true, should have studied the reviews closer experiences.
