Rented at Orlando where the SIXT office is off-airport. (I normally rent ON-airport here). Waited AGES for the shuttle bus. The staff at the office were DREADFUL. Waited EVEN LONGER - ALMOST AN HOUR - for desk service and provision of a car. The agent pointed to a car thro the window. The car then just DISAPPEARED. Appears it needed valeting. After about 40 mins it reappeared soaking wet & the carwash guy just gave me the keys & walked away. The car was a Toyota Prius Hybrid and he gave me NO INSTRUCTION at all on how to drive it. Never offered to put my bags in the trunk. No apology for the wait. I actually went back in the office & told the desk clerk the service was ATROCIOUS.
The office was in the middle of nowhere, & despite asking for help leaving & returning to the location, I received NO HELP.
Today I now find SIXT has charged me £50 on my credit card for 2 items I REFUSED - a tank of gas & breakdown cover. I have the gas receipt for filling up on the day I left Orlando
It is many many years since I received this level of service at a car rental depot. SIXT is obviously still living in the dark ages of customer service.
THE MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION - JUST SACK HIM/HER.
