When we picked up the car at the Fort Lauderdale rental center, we indicated that we did not wish to add a certain item. When we received the invoice at home, we saw that we had been charged for it. We emailed Customer Service, and they immediately phoned the Fort Lauderdale office, confirmed that an error was made, and refunded the sum charged. I was very impressed with the promptness of their response, and by Customer Service doing the right thing.
