I had pre booked a car with Sicily by car via rentalcars.com, on arrival at their desk at Pescra airport I was sixth in line. After waiting over 90 minutes and witnessing three of the people before me coming back to the desk to complain of unroadworthy vehicles ranging from cars with smashed headlights to flat tyres I decided to go to the next rental desk (Sixt) who offered me a car of the quality you would expect when renting a vehicle. It was more expensive than SbyC but what price do you put on safety.
The staff at SbyC were totally uninterested and rude when I told them I would not be taking a vehicle from them 'not our problem' was the response! Take advice and use another company.
