Among the various global car rental sites, rentalcars.com is currently the best or one of the best, in my experience. It serves a great variety of locations, deals with local and international providers and consistently finds cars at very good rates. So far, my experience has been smooth and efficient in all cases, and all cars I have booked (I rent frequently, and have rented in half a dozen places in the last 12 months) were in good condition and similar models to what I expected. It is worth carefully checking out the insurance and extras conditions - as they differ from place to place and provider to provider. It has happened to me on some occasions that the rentalcars rate was actually lower than the rate offered by the provider themselves, especially in case they were large international operators.
