booking was easy collection was a bit slow as there were a few people in the queue . not enough staff at counter.
staff member was very helpful and friendly but became a bit over powering when i sai well i have paid for full cover why do you want more money
car was in a fair condition with only a few minor defects/damage
even though i paid for full cover and studied the small print for full cover this includes an £1100 block on credit card it was kind of forced on me to pay an extra £79 for some reason instead of the £1100 credit card block
seems a bit of a sales pitch sham from gold cars in my opinion.
But just needed to get on the road as i had an important meeting to attend
so my thought is full cover from rental crs is worthless as you get forced into paying more before taking the car .
i have read about this problem with gold car forcing extra insurance on you when you think you have already paid for full cover
Rental cars really needs to look into this and clarify better.
