The car and service i received from the car hire company was good. However on rentalcars.com, I did not appreciate the automatic addition of full insurance coverage (an auto-ticked box in small print that needed manual unticking). Luckily I caught it at the last minute before submitting payment, when noting that my price had increased nearly 75% from the quote I chose. I do not think this is honest practice, as it is only on the last screen when submitting payment that this becomes clearly evident. Allow people to choose their coverage personally and the service provided by the site would be much more valued.
