Helpful & efficient

I have used Rentalcars.com a few times recently and find the site easy to use and the prices good. On the phone the staff are helpful too but I get the feeling they are more interested in selling. However, my main reason for writing is that I had a really bad experience recently when I booked a car through them and they handled in fantastically.

I booked a car from an off-site airport company and they were rude and obstructive to the point that I felt threatened and left without collecting my car. I wrote to Rentalcars a couple of days later and they refunded my rental payment immediately. They even offered to cover the cost of the taxi I had to hire to get home. They were very apologetic too.

I had been prepared for indifference or refusal to help so this response made me really happy. This is the mark of a company who really do care about customers and obviously value the loyalty of returning and regular customer. That is why I have taken the time to write this review. They are worth it.
