Hire through Rentalcars.com. The car had 74,000 km on it and didn't have a single panel or wheel that wasn't damaged. We had to wait for 95 minutes in the sun while an under staffed office dealt with a not excessive queue. Had to pay €100 for a tank of fuel in a Clio and told to bring it back empty ..... How do you bring a car back empty ? Told we were responsible for any call out to this ageing wreck to the tune of €300. The top up insurance appears to be part of the deal but is not ....and even when you have paid over 50% more than the original rent you have to leave a credit card deposit of nearly €1300 because the insurance repays you and doesn't cover the damage directly. You have to pay the rental company!
All the people that paid for the earlier damage ?? Nothing had been fixed ..... This must surely be illegal.
You couldn't make it up !!!!
I will never ..ever ...be back !
