Booked a Fiesta diesel but was pleasantly surpried to receive a sporty Megane sports estate. Car was slightly marked with around 20K on the clock but drove faultlessly. Only issue was supposed intergral sat nav did not have any maps loaded (luckily, we had taken our own).

Car was very economical which was good, but which also proved to be an issue. Beware! At my supposedly discounted hire rate booked online, the car comes fully filled with fuel. The Guerin rep advised that they have changed their system since October 2012 whereby, you are now required to return the car empty rather than full. Despite using the car every day, over the course of thr week I still ended up returning it with 1/3 of a tank of fuel thereby effectively pushing up the hire cost.

Although noty unhappy with my booking, it will be a factor in deciding on future boookings.
