Goldcar prices very good but admin poor. Instead of bringing the car back with a full tank you pay up front for a full tank with no credit for unused fuel.
We had to change the collection airport because the original one was under repair, sorting this out with a call centre in India was very difficult as the staff there were unable to make decisions without referal to the UK, this took some time on an expensive 'phone line.

On arrival at Pisa the lady there insisted that our extra insurance to cover the excess and which was bought in the UK was not sufficient, so we were " persuaded " to take out the Goldcar insurance for €116. It turned out that this was a scam to exract more money from us!

Overall I was disappointed with Goldcar, I have hired vehicles many times in Europe and the USA without any of the Goldcar smallprint and extra insurance hassle.
