The whole experience of renting a car on line was quite simple indeed. However I was somewhat disapointed to find that a limited number of Australian Car rental companies do not charge for a one way drop off, which restricted my options in choice. But I have to say Hertz were very accomodating in meeting my specific requirments in this area as I collected the Car in Adelaide and needed to drop off in Sydney. Some companies were prepared to charge for a one way drop off as much as THREE time the cost of the car which I feel was outragously excessive. My pick up and drop off went without a hitch and I was delighted.
