Collected car from Record at Alicante airport with prior damage recorded front and back of vehicle.I was given a hard time when I refused their extortionate top up insurance. Returned car after holiday clean and no fresh damage. No Record staff would check car with me. On returning home Record had taken 211 euros from my credit card. No explanation was given for this. 6 weeks later Record have still not responded to my emails querying this. I have now been told via the firm I booked the car through there was some supposed damage found on the car.I will never go with Record again. Always go with car rental firms that checks the vehicle with you on its return.
