I so wish I'd read these reviews before I opted for this outfit.
Unhelpful surley staff at the reception desk that tried to stitch me up over the excess waiver charge that I stupidly believed at the time of booking online, that I'd already paid for...I didn't read the small print apparently, so I was rudely told, and then the bombshell!
The outrageous great fuel charging.
I was determined to use every drop that I'd been grossly overcharged for, and consequently drove as uneconomically as I possibly could.
Absolutely disgusting trick this.They got it back running on fumes, which was a bit dangerous as I could have run out and missed my flight I suppose.
Couldn't get anyone to come and check the car with me for damage which was most worrying.
Did my own damage assessment in near dark conditions, and after frantic searching for their returns office on another floor, managed to get someone to acknowledge and stamp my observations.
Following day in daylight I noticed other marks and dents that I'd missed, and patiently wait now to see if they are going to try and blame me for them.
No one there to check the vehicle over when I returned it either.
As for the car, it was only 6 months old, but you'd never have guessed it.
Very dirty, especially the inside of the windows.
For safety reasons I ended up cleaning myself.No big deal granted, but a hirer really shouldn't have to be performing these basic tasks for them.
Original 'blip' key was not available. Was told that 'the boss' had it. Asked for 'the boss' but he wasn't available...apparently.
This meant that every time you wanted to unlock any door other than the driver's door, you had to get in, ignition on, and then press the master unlock button on the door pad.
Cig lighter missing, no wheel trims, no floor mats, broken rear load cover, and when I went to check the oil level,(dangerously low as was the screen wash) I noticed they'd even removed the plastic engine cover!
Did they see I was a scouser and were playing safe p'raps?
All in all, a very very poor experience and HIGHLY UNRECOMMEBDED. Use at your own peril and consequent cost.

Further to my comments, they sent me a questionaire asking for my views on their wonderful company!
Needless to say I haven't received any communication back from them after my scathing (but NOT rude) constructive (imo) critisism of their shambolic company.
How they are managing to actually stay in business is totally beyond my comprehension.
Not only the worst car hire compamy I've EVER had dealings with, but the worst company I've ever had dealings with completely!
I've reaped some small comfort in the knowledge that it was obviously not just me being overly picky or grumpy.
