I booked a car from Liverpool airport, and in an email from Interrent was promised a Peugot 107. When I arrived, I was offered a scruffy Fiat 500, which was far too small, so I had no choice but to ask for an upgrade. I was told there are in fact no Peugot 107s at Liverpool, and the only car available was a Peugot 308, for which I had to pay an extra 10 pounds per day, so it cost me far more than I expected.
The desk was understaffed (one guy serving four companies), and I had to stand in long queues twice to sort out the mess. It took me almost 2 hours to get out of the airport. I have never experienced such inefficient service anywhere in the world. Dreadful.
Later I wrote to the company to complain, but received no response.
Steer clear of this company. You have been warned!
