Booked an automatic from Hertz, Pisa City for our 2 week holiday where the car was said to be available. Hertz office was shut (nothing to say shut from 1-3pm on Holiday Auto site) No automatic available. Wasted €20 on a taxi getting there. The office said they rarely have one in stock! Complained to Holiday Autos (CarTrawler)sending several documents. Waited 3 weeks for the response that they would refund us the difference in price but basically sorry. No explanation of what happened.

If we'd known we would have booked through another company from Pisa Airport. Not ever using Holiday Autos or Hertz as customer service is 1/10 if something goes wrong.
