Booked and paid in full for a hire car through Holiday Autos and was placed with Firefly at Barcelona Airport. On return I discovered £200 had been taken unlawfully from my credit card for outrageous charges such as 'Fast track drop off, cleaning charge, extra insurance', none of which I had agreed to or was aware of. A quick look on the internet beforehand would have warned me of these illegal practices that take place daily with these vile scamming companies FIREFLY and HOLIDAY AUTOS .
It took me three weeks to finally get a full refund from Holiday Autos after much chasing and stress and threatening to go the media. I have now reported my findings to the regulatory authorities. Its about time these criminals were stopped.
