Had a great holiday and service was great. returned van in perfect condition. However have had had nothing but hassle trying to get deposit back. Still not returned after 7 weeks!! Every time I contact them, if you can get hold off them, get fobbed of with excuses. Only use this company if you are happy to never see £1250 again.

Couldn't agree more! I handed back my motorhome on the 11th of October in exactly the same condition as I got it, if not cleaner! Still not had my deposit back. Every email, phone call and online chat is either ignored or told they are experiencing a "technical glitch". It's completely criminal what they are doing to people. We pay the deposit in good faith and we certainly do not receive that back! Do not use this company !!

Same here! Handed camper back on 19th October. Still on deposit returned. Absolute criminals. I have tried to report to trading standards. You have to go through citizens advice bureau who will only pass it on if a number of complaints are received so please call them. Looking at Google reviews this has happened to many people. Don't let them get away with it.

I am in the same position. I handed the van back in perfect condition on 1st October 2016. I am still trying to get my deposit returned. It has completely spoilt my lovely holiday. Have you had any luck yet?

Exactly the same position. Bunch with serious cash flow problems. Been waiting 8 weeks now and keep getting fobbed off. Raising S75 complaint with credit card company. The fact they actually take the money from the credit card rather than just blocking the amount as most hire companies do smells of cash flow problems and pending insolvency. Avoid at all costs

I have the same problem. It''s now 7 weeks since we returned the van and no deposit has been returned. I've also realized that because everything is done through their fancy website, I have no receipts for the money I've paid !!.
I've chased them again today, and have now received an email offering me a voucher off a future rental, if I surrender my deposit money. That could indicate that this company has a cash flow problem. I would seriously advise anyone who has discovered this review, to use another company. PS. "Hire Booking Centre" is the same company as "National Motor Homes and "Unbeatable Hire Limited" and "Motorhome UK"

Same Problem here. And now I see, the fact that everything was done through their website means I have very little "paper trail" for any of the payments I've made to them. I have now raised a dispute through my credit card company. Hopefully they will resolve this, otherwise I will take it to the small claims court.

I returned my hire on 9 th October and still waiting for my $1250 . As I am in Australia it is hard to get any response. Surely with all the complaints some consumer action should be possible !!!
