I booked a Hertz Car rental for my Orlando trip Aug 14-20, we arrived at midnight and signs led us to the Gold Plus area. The agents accommodated us but gave us the feeling we were not good enough to be there

We booked a Nissan Altima 2-door or similar and ended up with an old Impala with 49k miles that did not even have remote entry. We asked the agent if we can get a car similar to what we booked and were told we got "upgraded"

An old Impala with no keyless entry vs a newer 2-dorr Nissan Altima cannot be compared

After over 10 years at Expedia and renting dozens of cards in many cities globally, this was the most disappointing car rental

I would caution anyone using points as you will be treated as second class and it is NOT a good feeling
