“Big hold on your crdit card”

When you rent from Hertz, they put a large amount hold on your credit card that does not get released for few days even after you pay the actual bill. for example, my rental car bill was $115 that I paid one the spot, but next week I found out they had put a hold on $325 on my credit card. It remained there for 2 weeks and calls to Hertz did not help inany way.

I left my Hertz Rental car back 6 days ago - all fully paid up and no extra damage. The car has been rented again, I saw it parked at a local hotel last night, but they have not yet released 770 Euro of pre authorized credit card charge !! Someone should look into the length of time this takes !!
