we are a family of 4 two small children and two adults we were going to malaga in spain we booked ahead early online with hertz and asked for an mpv so we could accomodate 3 suitcases and a double buggy, hertz charged us for a vauxhall meriva mpv costing £200.00 we recieved booking conformation online that the vehicle was waiting for us when we got there no such vehicle was available and we were told the biggest car was a peugeot 206 or nothing as you can amagine a double buggy filled the whole boot space and no room for our cases. when we complained the agent suddenly lost what little english he new to i no understand?. This was going nowhere so after recieving a car they normally rent for £97.00 and paying double that we then had to get a taxi to follow us with our luggage to our villa and the same again to return home costing another £160.00. I would never book with HERTZ again a local spanish firm would be much better to avoid a bad start to a holiday. thankyou HERTZ because it certainly HURTS your pocket.
