We had a terrible experience with Goldcar (booked through HolidayAutos) in Barcelona 3 weeks ago. We were on a late flight which arrived on time, but when we went to collect the car, the offices had closed. A man answered the phone and flatly said to come back tomorrow. We were stranded! We had to hire a new car, for 24 hours. But the next day Goldcar said our booking had been cancelled because we didn't collect the car. So, we are now fighting for compensation from Goldcar for their booking (already taken off our account), the new car (much more expensive) and three days of telephone calls from UK mobile in Spain to the various hire companies. Been a nightmare. Ongoing.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with us at our office in Barcelona was dissatisfying and that it was not possible for you to rent a car with us.
Your booking agent was Holiday Autos, for that reason you should ask for a reimbursement to them.
