Have written three times to Goldcar concerning the car we rented in Bologna this summer with no response. Our story is similar to lots and lots of complaints against this company.
When we delivered the car at the airport we were asked if the car was fully tanked. It was not. We were told we would be charged a additional fee of 40 euros, plus fuel, so we drove to the nearest gas station and filled up the tank. Despite this, the invoice shows we were charged almost 100 euros in fuel.
We rented the car through Rentalcars. How can Rentalcars, with all the complaints against Goldcar, convey this company? Do Rentalcars consider Goldcar to be a serious company?

Dear customer,
There must have been some sort of human error when entering the data in the system. If you purchased a full to full fuel plan and you returned the tank full, you should have been reimbursed the full amount. Please respond to this comment with your reservation number so that we can accelerate the process with Customer Services.
