Hired a car from murcia airport with no problems
at all yes you pay for a tank of petrol
but at 68 euros for a fortnight used nearly everyday
this was quite reasonable.
YES YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A FULL TANK..
BUT if all the moaners on here had done there
homework first (instead of leaving it to
when at the desk it would make life easier for everyone concerned)
If you dont think you will need extra insurance DONT
buy it simples (although around 300 euros will be held on your credit card... )
Yes they will make a few euros profit on petrol
but its cheaper than uk anyway.
Found staff friendly and they remembered me when i returned car.

You appointed the problem areas perfectly. Your excellent tip also testified of above average intelligence; "If you dont think you will need additional insurance DONT buy it simples". Thanks for that! The point is that Goldcar not transparent communicates so it can pretend that it offers 'the best value for money'. Thats simply not thru. And that is after some calculations with the correct and 'complete' information suddenly clearly. Thats why people moan and the staff gets unfriendly. Understandable since they are the people that are confronted with costumers that are disappointed... not their management.
