We booked through booking.com (which uses rentalcars.com) with what seemed like a good deal. CDW included and quite a good rate. On arriving we found that we would be charged 90 euro for a full tank with no refund (as the previous reviewer stated) At the time the price of diesel was 1.31 euro/ litre and with the 40 litre tank this is just over 50 euro. Additionally they put a lot of pressure on us to get the "extra" insurance claiming incorrectly that we would have to pay unlimited costs for any damage. This was a blatant lie since I already had CDW. Another sales person was doing the same to the person in front of me so it seems like company policy. They scare my wife so much she insisted we take the extra insurance. In the end it was more expensive than a reputable company.
