Firefly urged us to pay an additional damage insurance but we declined as we have an independent insurance. The lady at the counter said (twice!) that we will think of her warning when we return the car if we don’t buy the extra insurance. We still declined. We returned the car without any inflicted damage after the 4 days renting period. The lady who received us looked at the paper and immediately pointed out a small damage that was only visible when the trunk was open. Although we inspected the car before driving off we did not notice this damage as we did not open the trunk. Firefly withdrew an extra €253.87 on our credit card for a damage we did not inflict. We wonder how many renters have already and how many will still pay for this same damage.
Check your rental car for this damage if it is a TOYOTA VERSO, REGISTRATION# 3730 JXR (E - Spain).
We feel being framed and we are warning everybody before deciding for Firefly.
