My wife and I rented a 2015 Ford Fiesta from Firefly Sept 23-28, 2015, while in Las Vegas. The car itself was fine, however we had a problem a couple of days before the end of our trip. When returning to our hotel from an outing, the A/C quit working. With Vegas in the midst of unusually hot weather even by their standards, this was a big deal. The problem occurred when I contacted Firefly. First I was told I could exchange the car at one location, only to find out that location was not even open for two more days! Then I was told I could go to a different location and was twice given phones numbers that resulted in a recording telling me the numbers were invalid. On my fourth call, I was told I could only exchange it at the airport location, which would really have been inconvenient due to construction in the area. Finally, I was given another location I could try to contact to see if they had any cars available. My disappointment was really three-fold. First, never in nearly 40 years of renting cars have I had to go out of my way to fix a problem for the car rental company. Such things have only happened a few times, but every time, they came to me with a different car. Second, 4 or 5 phone calls and well over an hour on the phone addressing this issue was/is awful. And finally, in the end, I could not make the window (7 AM to 1 PM Sunday) to exchange the car. All in all, I would say this was very poor service and I am unlikely to use Firefly again or recommend them to my friends and family.
