Rented a car from Firefly in Denver. The car was an Altima with 54000 miles, it was extremely dirty inside and smelled like someone had lived in it for awhile. Three tires were over inflated by 8 lbs and one was leaking air fast. Had to stop in Tire Center to check the leaking tire. After removing the tire from the rim we discovered that the lip of the tire that seals on the rim was damaged. It was missing a large piece of rubber. The tire was previously reinstalled on the rim with this damage although it was a potentially serious hazard. For safety purpose, the tire should have been replaced. We were surprised to learn that Firefly is owned by HERTZ. Such poor quality of service does not bode well for HERTZ's reputation.
