Called and told them my flight to Vegas was late and was told it was not a problem. Got to the counter and the lady at Firefly said she was closing to go to The Dollar counter and they would take care of me. Waited 45 minutes before calling Firefly's 800 number to tell them no one had shown up at the counter yet. Was advised to wait. Two hours later, when my turn came I was told Firefly was out of cars and Dollar Rental would get me one. It cost me more money to rent and instead of a $200 hold on my credit card it cost me $350. The car was FLITHY (have pictures). The seats were stained, the carpet dirty, dents and scratches in the back and both sides, and someone's hair bow was in the back seat. It was embarrassing to drive it places. I sure did not invite family to ride with me anywhere. I called to speak with a manager the next day and was told he/she would get back with me and never heard a word. Lesson learned.Do Not rent from Hertz or Firefly! The ten couples that I was with learned the same lesson except they went with a different rental company to start with. Very disappointed in my experience with Firefly and Dollar Car Rentals.
