Worst Car Hire firm in the World !!!¬

I booked online a car for rental from Alghero airport in Mid-June 2017 - I specifically selected a light coloured car, given the very hot June temperatures. When I arrived at the Europcar desk in Alghero airport, I received a cold greeting from the agent. She quickly asked for my credit card details to withhold a further £300 or so, should I have an accident etc. She then handed me the keys to what she said was a dark blue car....I advised her that I booked a light coloured/cream car and she abruptly replied that it was all that was available...so take it or leave it, knowing that they couldn't give me a refund should I have decided to go elsewhere. Because of the dark coloured car we have to have the air conditioning on full blast throughout our holiday....less than ideal....plus air conditioning consumes a significant amount of petrol. On returning the car, they detected a scratch which they attributed to me - so said they would charge me 220 Euros - and to my horror when I got an email(sent wrongly to my partner's email address)- I discovered they had added an additional 75 Euros Administration fee !!!! So, 33% on top of the 220 Euros. The agent was so rude(the same lady who gave me the car, received it back. I strongly recommend you NEVER EVER use this hire car firm! To compound matters, when I made a complaint to their senior Complaints handler, I got a smug and arrogant reply that 'in the terms and conditions' - oh no.....forget an apology......no mention of the fact that I was given the wrong coloured car and the rudeness of the staff ! KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !
