I rent, on a business contract, from the Newbury Berkshire branch, asking for the car to be delivered to my house. They continually deliver late and have today, 10 minutes before the delivery time, phoned me to tell me that two of their staff had "just left the office" to drive the 26 miles to Winchester to go fetch me a car. When questioned I was told that they source cars on an ad hoc basis, for example, at 8amm they will see what cars are needed for 9am. If there is a shortfall, they will start ringing around other offices to see what they can get.

To be frank, I'm now amazed that I ever get a car at all from them.
