Arranged car rental through rentalcars.com who apparently didn't pass on the request for sat nav and a car seat for our daughter. We were coincidentally given a free upgrade but this included a higher excess payable no matter whose fault any accident was.
It took two hours to get our car after a scruffy car seat was wiped down and a sat nav held together with Sellotape was found. On returning the car it was checked over and we were told our £200 deposit would be returned. Most of it wasn't! When we enquired we were eventually told that they had deducted the cost of a car seat and sat nav. Nearly an extra £200 for the week that was not clearly indicated on the rentalcars website or by any member of the enterprise office in Aberdeen. The first respondent in fact told us to stop emailing as he was leaving the company. The manager and customer services have shown little more interest.
