I was invited to inspect the car in a garage in poor light and cramped conditions that made it hard to inspect the car thoroughly. The inspection you are invited to take when you accept the car is much more casual and friendly than the one that is undertaken when the car is returned.

Some minor scratch damage was observed when the car was returned, which they set about exagerating on return in the accident report.

They dismisivley advised me that You checked the car and signed the contract...

I recommend that you check the car VERY thoroughly on collection. Get on your hands and knees.

The car was dirty inside on collection and smelt of diesel throughout the period of hire. They claimed it had been valeted.

Other than that the service was ok.
