We hire a car online 6 months in advance for a holiday we were going to have in the USA but some unfortunate events happened in the meantime and were had to cancel our holiday. I contacted Elephant and they cancelled our booking straight away. There was no hassle and they gave a full refund which I received in a matter of days. Hired a Hyundai online from Elephant Car Hire website for 14 days. The car was in perfect condition, a 2012 model, low kms, auto, very easy to drive, very comfortable and economical on fuel. Service was impeccable. Once at the depot, paperwork was completed very quickly and I was away. Return was similarly efficient. All staff were friendly and eager to please. I frequently book rental cars and I am use to being hit with hidden extras and high fuel costs so I was expecting something similar with Elephant. Pleasantly there wasn't any. There was the extra insurance I was offered to cover the excess, but its optional and something I have never taken out before. Apart from this there was nothing. Pickup full, Return full... excellent policy so you don't get ripped of with expensive fuel prices! I had to leave a deposit for the fuel, but that's fine because I knew I would fill up before I returned the car. The prices was also very competitive. It was about the same as cars on other sites that had full/empty policy so it was a better deal. Have no bad things to say at all. Definitely will use again. (read more)

Choosing Elephant was an excellent choice I feel. The car I was given was in immaculate condition when I arrival at their depot and the make of the car was better than advertised. We had our 2 small children with us and they supplied child seats free of charge which was unexpected but much appreciated. With other companies I was always charged for these. The man at the desk, Robert i think his name was, was very helpful. He directed me to the hotel as it was my first time to Alicante. We forgot to bring the directions to our hotel, but Avis found their number, called them and got the directions for us. We would not have found it without their help. It was a top spec with all the gadgets and had no problems at all. The staff at the airport were all polite and friendly.
