Car hire with firefly

Hired from: Firefly, Fiumicino, Rome

The staff here were great - efficient, friendly and helpful. The car was lovely - and exactly what we needed for driving to Tuscany and back, from Rome.

The only thing to watch out for is that when returning the car, the directions, which are programmed into the sat nav, want to take you to Ciampino Airport, which is 18km away from Fiumicino. Apparently, there are 2 roads called Via dell' Aeroporto, one in Ciampino and the other in Fiumicino - the sat nav wanted to take us to the wrong one! We asked at a petrol station eventually. When you hire, make sure you get precise directions for the return of your car.

I've given 5 stars, in spite of this hiccough because the staff were straightforward- you felt that they knew what they were doing . We will definitely hire from here again.

As always, take photos of the car before you drive it off the premises, it gave us extra peace of mind.
