All was well until we decided we would like to keep car another week. Called europcar who did the rental for Economy. Were told that we could have car another week at same price. They lied Not only were we charged more for the extra week but they applied the new rate- nearly double- to the entire contract period. They are refusing to correct this. I was told the manager of Lyon office would phone me to discuss. another lie She did not call. It is easier and cheaper to return car and pick up a new one which we did for the following weeks. Complete nonsense and an an outrageously deceptive business practice

If I had known the way contract extensions were handled I would never have extended the contract. It takes the economy out of Economy
