Rental Office Hours of Operation in Halifax Canada

Recently I booked a car rental with Economy car rentals. I have used them before without any problems, however this time I arrived at the Halifax Airport to find that the office closed at 00:30 in the morning and my flight was late and did not arrive until 02:30. I had to wait until 07:00 in the morning to get m6y car. Operating hours should be included in the location of the rental to avoid these mistakes. After flying long haul for 12 hours to find you have to wait another 4.5 hours for the rental agency to open is unacceptable. The rental people were very helpful to get me on my way. The courtesy of the staff at the airport was excellent. The hours of service were poor.
I would only recommend Economy for service during daylight hours at the Halifax airport. It is a small city and does not have enough clientel in the late hours to warrent service 24 hours. This should be included in the rental site for Halifax Airport
