“Shame the site doesn't offer minus stars - Stung by...”

Booked the car via Argus Car Hire - paid deposit and was told it would be £27 (or thereabouts) with a security deposit of £500 which is held on my card. “Terrible - stung for unaware charges & given wrong info”

“Excellent, cheap and easy car hire at Edinburgh airport”

Needed last minute one day hire car from Edinburgh airport. Easiest website to use, very good value. No probelm finding courtesy bus to site. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff member. Went cheapest option and got a nice little Nissan Micro, excellent condition, easy to drive. Location at airport easy to get off and back into again. “Great value for money!”

Their fleet composed of new cars at a very affordable price. I have started using their service since the beginning and I always got great prices compared to the competition. I always go for the automatic cars option, so I cannot review the manual offering, but the model I have been offered until now as always left me very satisfied. “Disorganised and confused”

We had booked a car through Argus car hire with Easirent at Edinburgh airport and when we arrived even though we had booked a child car seat they did not have one available and stated that Argus were at fault for not informing them. They eventually located a filthy slightly damaged class 1 car seat which was not ideal as we had requested an infant class 0 seat but luckily our son is approaching the age were he could just manage the class 1. “Hidden costs and Refuse to Refund what was Agreed”

I hired a small car from the Manchester Airport office. When I arrived to pick up the keys there is was an additional charge for a quarter tank of fuel which came to £20. I only needed the car for a 20 minute journey so I put £10 worth of petrol into the car. This filled the tank more than quarter full which proves that Easirent's refill fuel policy is a way to extract money from customers without justification. “Friendly, quick and definitely easy”

We first used Easirent at Manchester airport because Other, bigger names were all out of cars. We were very pleasantly surprised and now use Easirent as our preferred provider for car hire. The service is great. You get collected from the airport, normally in the car you will be hiring (so no need to move bags between vehicles) and taken to the office in a local hotel where paperwork is completed in 5 minutes. “Simple easy rental”

Easirent is all that you want from a car hire business. The staff work hard to look after you. There a few frills but there is no fuss or nonsense either! “Unreliable !”

Disappointing and unreliable service. On arrival at Edinburgh airport - had to take a bus to get to Easirent - only to find that car was not available. No offer to help except to tell me that possibly another car company at the actual airport may be able to help me. The gentleman at the counter was well aware of my dilemma on the day - I had flown in with my late Mother's cremated remains which were due to be interred that morning / I was visibly emotional and did not need to go through everything that I did !

“And the charges keep on coming!”

I found this company on line when trying to lease a car for London. So, they have a pick up point 2miles from Gatwick airport where you have to go by bus, but that's the least of your worries! During booking, i opted for third party full zero excess insurance, in order to avoid the 1.500 pound deposit. Did i avoid it? Nooooo! You still need to have 1.500 pound balance on your credit card in order to skip zero excess from easirent. Why not, 1500 pounds is a small amount, everyone should have… Read Full Review

With the excess insurance you purchased prior to the hire, that is where you claim through them in the event of accident or damage to the vehicle once you have paid the hire company for the costs. However, we still need a credit card to pre-authorize the deposit.

“Hidden costs/cheating on customer/looking for faults ”

I have found on the internet cheapest car hire, so I've tried it but it absolutelly turned to most expensive, worsest I ever had. By the collection I had to pay £40 extra for fuel for almost 1/4 of tank which I a absulutelly didn't understand. Stuff has been pushing me to an expensive insurace cover and treatening me to take it otherwise I will have to pay £1500 from my credit card as deposit which I might not see anymore. your company cheating on people so there is no chance you would change. I will never ever even click on your website mate. Read whole review story before you answer next time and refund my money back for two days earlier returned can just because I was afraid that I am not gonna see anymore deposit of 1500 pounds as your stuff is absolutely disgusting. That lady at Luton has been looking for scratches and faults the way I have never seen in my entire life. People around were disgusted also. She finally found a minor stone chip which by the way was already there at collection with other few on the screen and I didn’t even pay an attention to it as I have borrowed 17.000 miles car and not a brand new. She charged me 50 pounds for the fixing of window which never will happen. What a ridiculous way to make the money.

You're ignoring my complains but it's not gonna end just there..
