Short version: 2.5 hour queue to receive the car from Easirent, nothing resembling the vehicle I'd booked was available and they were unable to refund me the cost difference.

Longer version: I arrived to find a queue of around thirty people trailing out of the office into the car park in the rain. This is the second time i have booked with Easirent and as soon as I saw the queue I remembered - yes, this is the company that took 45 minutes to process my booking. If only I'd remembered earlier I could have saved myself the horror of dealing with them again. After two hours, I finally reached the desk. They informed me the car I'd booked wasn't available but I could wait for someone who was due back in an hour. I wasn't willing to risk this and asked to have whatever was available. It still took another 45 minutes to get the car and as I had already paid, they weren't able to give me the lower rate.

I really feel for the staff in this place. It is not their fault that their greedy employer decided to book way more cars than they had capacity to process. Two staff had stayed on beyond the end of their shifts to help and they all managed to maintain a degree of professionalism amidst a room full of shouting customers.

I have rated the value for money as terrible because, while the product is cheap, there is absolutely no value offered.
