booked an automatic car 3 months in advance from Australia to use in the uk.
turn up at the Sheraton skyline office no auto just a manual.
waited 7 hours from 8 am to 3 pm for a car to return. finally got taken from Heathrow to Gatwick, one and a half hour trip to get a car, not the one we ordered but a car nevertheless.
no communication from the office staff, just glib promises from m*tt in an office somewhere about waiting for yr car to return.
we were given some amounts off the rental fees but as we had paid for a more expensive car that never turned up this is hardly compensation. whilst we were hanging around the rental office there were at least 3 other couples waiting for cars to turn up for them.
it is obvious that easirent take more bookings than they have cars.
they may say "well we have in the small print a clause that says we don't promise to supply a car to u".
well it might be true but a lot of good that is when u book in advance and yr holiday is spoilt.
imagine if u had yr kids and mother in law with u? and this happened to u.
a shoddy shambolic car rental company. they should be ashamed of their whole operation.
TAKE NOTE OF THE REVIEWS ABOUT EASIRENT
AND HEED WELL THE COMPLAINTS.
u pay less and get even less than less from this company.
