We booked a car hire via DoYouSpain. At the time of booking we didnt know car hire company they'd use. In our case it was Goldcar. They kept us waiting at the airport for 45mins with no apology. They wouldnt let us take away a complaint form, instead they referred us to a website... which of course does not show you how to log a complaint. They also operate a policy were they charge you for a full tank of petrol regardless of whether you us it or not. In our case we used less than 1/2 tank. Read the small print or better still AVOID

I second everything you say they do not deserve the business total rip off from fuel to the child car seat.
We too used less than half a tank and lets face it you cannot really argue as you as caught between a rock and a hard place

I have only just discovered that all businesses must fill in a complaint form if you request to make a complaint. I don't think many people realise that all European countries have this facility. As I understand it , by law they must return the form to the consumer complaints service. If more than three complaints are made in any one month then the complaints must be investigated and the business cannot trade until the investigation has happened. To make sure that the complaint has reached the officials take a note of the reference number and pass this to them yourself. Take a look at ukecc-services. We must be bothered to complain. We seem to be running around like headless chickens rather than putting a determined effort to stop this fraud. Lets work together . Please contact Watchdog and request they highlight what is happening .They will investigate if many contact them.
