Orlando rent-a-car Las Palmas

Orlando - slow start but excellent finish!
After over an hour's waiting at the airport without explanations from Orlando, we finally managed to get a seat on the thrid shuttle bus to the office. My husband was furious but we were well compensated by the office manager Alfredo who gave us a better car than we reserved and made sure we were happy with that. We were just a bit surprised there was only 1/4 fuel in the tank as it said get full/return full in the online contract. However in the physical hire contract it said 2/8 and return 2/8 tank so it was all OK.
When returning the car after our week's holiday, Orlando rent-a-car proved to be really service-minded. Return is supposed to be at the same off-site office about 15 minutes from the airport. My husband had taken very ill during the night and was in great pain. Since we were leaving for home we didn't have to go to the hospital but I called our tour operator and asked for a representative to meet up at the airport and accompany my husband to the sick room there so he could be looked after whilst I returned the car. Despite my phone calls, NO tour representative showed up and I was really worried.
I then called Orlando and explained the situation to them and asked if they could make an exception and come pick up the car at the airport instead. They could tell I was extremely worried and said that they would send someone to pick the car up in 10 minutes and so they did! I was so relieved that I could tend to my husband, I even hugged the Orlando man who came to take the car back to the office!
THANK YOU ORLANDO LAS PALMAS FOR BEING SO SERVICE-MINDED and helping me out in this difficult situation!
The only suggestion for improvement is to give more and correct information about the situation at the airport and the waiting time there since that was really an annoying way to begin the holiday.
