I reserved a car for the 23rd July, from Jordan (Middle East), via CarTrawler to pick up at Enterprise Car Hire (Dublin Airport). I arrived at at 10 p.m in the evening. A courtesy bus outside terminal 2 took myself and my sister to Enterprise, which is on the main road outside the Dublin Airport. Upon arrival I handed my drivers license of 10 years to the staff only to find out it had expired! The staff at enterprise could sense my shock and anxiety and tried all they could to help but without my license I could not take my car hire. They very kindly returned us to Dublin Airport and were very kind and gracious. My praise goes to them because they could have abandoned us outside the airport late at night - thank you Enterprise.

I phoned CarTrawler to ask if there was anything they could do regarding a refund and I was told to email customer care and explain what had happened, which I promptly did. I must confess I had very little hope of retrieving any refund because the problem was with my licence and not with anything CarTrawler did wrong. However, to my delight CarTrawler sent me an email saying they would refund my money. A big thank you to CarTrawler and their team for all their assistance.

As a frequent traveller all over the world it is refreshing to find a company that cares for its customers. I hope other companies follow suit because customers want a more personal approach. Also, employees that are treated well and given due praise, reflect that into success of their company.
