WORST COMPANY EVER!

Budget are without a doubt the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of using. I booked a rental car from an airport in Michigan with Budget and paid $900 online. Before I booked the car I called Budget to make sure that my travellers card was okay to use to pay for the car, I was told that it was. Upon my arrival at the airport I am told by budget that the card I used to pay for the car was not suitable and I couldn't have the car that I had already paid for unless I could produce a major credit card. I am told by the lady at the desk that there is nothing she can do and I need to call their customer service line. I call them and they hang up on my four times. They are the least helpful people I have ever had to talk to. I am then told that they won't give me the car I have already paid for and won't refund my money for at least 3 days.I am a 19 year old female and I am now stranded in another country with no transport to my other hotels I have already paid for or to the airport which I need to get my international flight home. Budget didn't even attempt to resolve the problem or provide me with any other alternative solution to the problem their incompetent staff had caused. I would not even recommend budget to my worst enemy! They are awful. They are quick to take your money and slow to return it as well as being completely unconcerned with you or your safety. DO NOT USE THEM!
